Megan is of British, Swiss and Russian descent. She works between London and LA where her twin sister lives. Megan is most well known for playing Katie Fitch for two seasons on BAFTA-winning e4 show ‘Skins’. Other credits include; Films ‘Sleeping Rough’ (Pastles Productions, 2017) and ‘Cut’ (Askja Films, 2017) as well as TV shows; ‘Doctors’ (BBC), ‘Silent Witness’ (BBC) and ‘Holby City’ (BBC).
As a writer, Megan was mentored by 'Skins' creator Bryan Elsley and worked with his Production Company Balloon Entertainment for a year. Megan is now a member of the Writer's Guild of Great Britain and currently has a number of writing projects in development.
In 2020, Megan was selected to be part of Soho Writer’s Lab as well as The Bush theatre’s West London Playwright’s Group, and will be writing her theatre production ‘Universal’ over the course of these two writing labs. Universal is a play that discusses sex workers rights and the laws and social stigma that put workers at increasing risk of violence. Matthew Schmolle productions will produce Universal, and Christa Harris (Associate Director - Les Enfants Terrible) will direct. Universal received Arts Council funding in 2020 for its R&D period, which will take place in spring 2021.
Megan is incredibly well versed in health and fitness. She came 4th in The United Kingdom Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation’s British Championships in 2016 and alongside her role in film ‘Cut’ in 2017, she competed with Pure Elite and not only won her category in the Bikini Fitness, but was awarded a highly sought-after ‘Pro card’.
