Originally from Manchester, Lee moved to London in 2018. Since then he has been producing his own original writing on stage and screen. He also set up an acting school and production company, 1956 Studio, teaching his own technique derived from his studies of Practical Aesthetics, Meisner and the theory of Archetypes developed by psychologist Carl Jung.
Screen credits include; ‘Cold Feet’ (Big Talk, 2019), recurring role of Father Marcus in ‘Hollyoaks’ (Lime Pictures, 2018), PC Laing in ‘The A Word’ (BBC 1, 2016), Jay Cove in ‘Casualty’ (BBC, 2016), Heavy in ‘Coronation Street’ (ITV, 2013-15), Davie Rigby in ‘Doctors’ (BBC, 2014), Cass in ‘The Dumping Ground’ (BBC, 2013) and Bonehead in ‘Shameless’ (Company Productions, 2008-2010).
His most recent stage performance was at the Tristan Bates Theatre for a week’s run of his own play ‘Sunrise for the Blind’ which is currently being developed into a feature film.
