Eoin is a graduate of Rose Bruford College and is originally from Dublin.
Screen credits include playing Sean in short film 'God Grant Me' (Mark Davis, 2020), John MacNamara in ‘Poldark’ (BBC, 2019), the lead role of Adrian Knight in the four part webseries ‘All the Wild Roses’ (Portrait X, 2019), and Mick in the award winning short film ‘The First Saturday of May’ (Pickle and Co., 2019). Eoin’s television work includes ‘Ripper Street’ (Amazon, 2016), ‘Single Handed’ (BBC/RTE, 2010), ‘The Clinic’ (Parallel, 2010) and ‘Fair City’ (RTE). He played boxer Christy Ryan in the feature ‘Sou’Paw’ (Liberty Films, 2017).
Eoin has also worked extensively in theatre having professionally debuted in 2004 with Barabbas Theatre Company’s production of ‘Hurl’. Eoin also appeared in ‘Luca’, ‘The Parable of the Plums’ and ‘The Golden Ratio’ with Barabbas. With CoisCeim Dance Theatre, Eoin appeared in ‘ChamberMade’ and ‘Orfeo Ed Eurydice’ (Opera Ireland). Eoin was a company member of Druid for a number of years, during which time he toured internationally with productions of ‘The Playboy of the Western World’, ‘Riders to the Sea’, ‘Deirdre of the Sorrows’, ‘Well of the Saints’ and ‘The Tinker’s Wedding’ - all directed by Tony award-winning director Garry Hynes.
To date, Eoin has written three plays; ‘Climb’ (with Ben Hennessey), ‘Little Red’, and critically acclaimed ‘The Locksmith’s Songs’. He is currently developing a feature script with support from The Arts Council and his black comedy short film ‘Onions’ is currently in pre-production and will be shooting in February 2020.
