Dylan Edy

Dylan is a South African actor, graduating from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a BA Music and Drama Performance Studies and beginning his professional career in 2005 with his play ‘Land Ahoy’.


Screen credits include: playing opposite Joey King in ‘The Kissing Booth 2’ (Netflix, 2020), as Gregor in ‘The Professionals’ (Subotica, 2019), opposite David Avery in ‘Troy: Fall of a City’ (Netflix, 2018), as Louis Prezelin with Audrey Tautou in  ‘L’Odyssee’ (Fidelite, 2016), as Luiz in ‘American Girl: Lea to the Rescue’ (Martin Chase Productions, 2016), opposite Olga Kurylenko in ‘Momentum’ (Grosvenor Park, 2015), as William White opposite Anna Camp in ‘Saints and Strangers’ (NatGeo, 2015), as Amjad in ‘Seal Team Eight: Behind Enemy Lines’ (20th Century Fox, 2014), as Jesus in ‘Bordering on Bad Behavior’ (Muddville, 2014), ‘Homeland’ (Showtime, 2014), ‘Mad Dogs’ (Left Bank Pictures, 2013), as Murviel opposite Tom Felton in ‘Labyrinth’ (Scott Free, 2012), opposite Arsher Ali in ‘Beaver Falls’ (Company Pictures, 2012), and as Gilligan in ‘Blue Crush 2’ (Universal Pictures, 2011).


Theatre credits include; playing Roger Shears in ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ (2018) for its South African tour, Will Shakespeare in ‘Shakespeare in Love’ at the Fugard Theatre, Ice in ‘Rockville 2069’ at the Artscape Opera House, Demetrius in ‘Puck’s Story’ at the Kalk Bay Theatre, Laertes in ‘Hamlet’ at The Playhouse Company. Dylan received a Fools Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Actor in BGM’s ‘Guys and Dolls’ as Society Max at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, and Dan in the South African run of

New Boy at the New Space Theatre, directed by Russell Labey.
